How We Restore Your Porch

Assess & Moisture Check
We walk every level with you, test the wood with a moisture meter (it has to read 15–45% to take stain), and flag soft or split boards that need repair or replacement before anything gets coated.
Clean, Strip & Protect
Old failing coating, gray weathered wood, dirt and mildew come off with a cleaner/brightener and pressure wash. Siding, windows, plants and the neighbor’s side are masked and covered first — then the wood dries fully before we touch it again.
Sand, Repair & Prep
Floors and treads are sanded so the stain bites into the wood, raised grain is knocked down, nails and screws are set, and loose spindles or rails are tightened. Prep is 60% of the job — it’s what separates a 3-year finish from a 1-year one.
Coat, Cure & Walkthrough
Sherwin-Williams SuperDeck goes on floors, stairs, railings and spindles — brushed into the grain, not just sprayed over it. We give it proper cure time, then Ramon walks every level with you before sign-off. Our 60-day horizontal-surface warranty starts that day.
